Eduardo has over 25 years of experience as a serial entrepreneur, angel investor and mentor in high-tech management, with a proven track record steering companies through the challenging stages of rapid growth.
Born in Argentina, Eduardo co-founded seven Israeli high-tech companies (Optibase, Vcon, Accord, Lasercomm, Big Band, Sirica, accells) with five successful exits, three of them with valuations in excess of $300 million, one in excess of $1B, and total revenues of billions of dollars.
Optibase was a pioneer in MPEG digital compression and forever changed the way we consume video on the Internet. Successfully taken public on NASDAQ in 1999, valuation peaked at over $450M. Eduardo’s six original employees at Optibase went on to create other successful high-tech ventures and Optibase became recognized as a boot camp for entrepreneurial activity in Israel.
Accord, a leader in rich media video network products, was acquired by Polycom in 2000 for $340M. Vcon was a video conferencing pioneer that went public in France on the Nouveau Marche and reached a market cap of $300M. Big Band Networks, a leader in cable and satellite video distribution, peaked at a $1.1B market cap on NASDAQ and was acquired in 2011 by Arris.
